Improvement meme 2011-2022 (bit late lol)

2018: I haven't been drawing a lot. Mostly because I feel like I'm not improving and I want every drawing to be really good which is obviously not possible since I'm still not very good. I know what I'm bad at (which is a lot: backgrounds, anatomy, shading) and I want to get better at everything at once and I want to see results immediately... yeah impossible. And yet, even though I didn't draw much this year I still see improvement if I compare it to last year xD So at least I'm improving? Not sure why though since I don't feel like I'm putting in the effort lol

2019: read 2018... really, its basically the same story. Still need to draw way more D:

2020: I've been really productive the first half of the year. I've been doing gesture drawing every morning. I've done an ink drawing every day when I was on vacation this year (making up for the Inktober month that I didn't do this year rip.) I've also tried to start a webcomic collab with someone but we kinda stopped after a few chapters which is a shame... But now I wanna start a new one on my own so I'll try to continue that next year Also I found out about something called ArtFight and I participated in that! It was fun so I wanna do it again next year. I even finished the online figure drawing course I bought like 2 years ago XD I think it really helped me with drawing full bodies and poses. I'm still struggling a lot but at least I think the people I draw look good enough for now lol

2021: Updating this a little late lol (It's already February!) I feel like I haven't drawn much this year but I did finish Huevember so I'm proud of myself for that. Completing Huevember still means I did like 30 drawings so it's not nothing. I've been watching way too many tv shows this year though XD I mean it was fun but it also meant I didn't have time to draw anything. Next year I want to change myself though, I've been working at this job for way too long and I need to change that. I also want to do some other art unrelated things like completing a part of the Duolingo course because I want a goal instead of mindlessly doing the lessons. We'll see how far I get with all of these goals next year!

2022: I have decided I want to at least be consistent with Youtube uploads and Redbubble shop updates next year. I want to at least be consistently adding new art to my socials so I can hopefully gain some popularity and as result also sell some art and gain more followers and subscribers. This year I have again not drawn as much as I wanted. I always draw when I feel like it and quit (posting) whenever so I'm never consistent about posting my art throughout the year. I disappear for months and then suddenly I'm back for a few drawings but that's not great for gaining followers. 

Anyways! The art goal for 2022 was to complete huevember which I sadly forgot about so I didn't do it. But! I also had some goals not related to art which was to quit my job and I did that! I also found a new job that I like better And it's a parttime job so I can do more art now! Other than that I also did some translation jobs on Rev.com in 2022, which was also a goal. I am still consistently doing Duolingo every single day for about 1 and a half year now. Let's continue this streak next year!
